Johnny Ryan is an accomplished comics creator with a  considerable range  as illustrated by the list of publications his work has appeared in including MAD, LA Weekly, VICE Magazine (monthly strip),  National Geographic Kids, Nickeloden Magazine and Hustler.   His Angry Youth Comix — a take no-prisoners ‘low brow’ comic published by Fantagraphics has been nominated several times for the  presitigous Harvey and Esiner awards. 

Having conqured the printed page, Angry Youth Comix  is getting the toy treatment from Span of Sunset — both Loady McGee and Sinus O’Gynus will soon be available as vinyl ‘ action dolls’.  As described by Johnny Ryan, Loady McGee "is the spikey-haired, zit-faced jerk who loves watching snuff movies and eating teddy grahams"  and  Sinus O’Gynus "is America’s #1 wimp and Loady’s favorite punching bag". Both come fully equipped as shown on the cover of Angry Youth Comix.   Loady McGee is armed with a broken bottle, a baseball bat (with nail).  Sinus is ready to rock with a knife and a paddle ball game and has a slit on the back for back-stabbing action.   Both have dead fish — hmmm. The figures ship in dirty outhouse themed boxes.
