After several delays, indie comix creator Johnny Ryan’s Angry Youth Comix characters have made the jump to the world of designer toys. Specifically, popular characters Sinus O’Gynus and Loady McGee are now available as limited-edition vinyl action ‘dolls’ (all in favor of striking this word from our vocabulary, raise your hand) from Span of Sunset.
The 8” figures carry over Ryan’s bold and perhaps even offensive humor. Cute/bland toys these are not – and the world’s a better place for it. Shown above, the zit faced jerky Loady McGee ships ready to terrorize with a broken bottle, bat + nail, and ummm a dead fish(not pictured). His favorite victim, Sinus O’Gynus comes with a ball/paddle game, dead fish, and knife (burried in a bloody slot on his back).
Befitting the low-brow roots of the comix, both figures ship in outhouse themed boxes featuring magnetic closures. Both figures retail for 49.95 and are available as a 2-figure set for $90.00.
