Whoa. Tracy Tubera x Unruly Industries have introduce not one, not two, but three brand-new Marvel Spider-Verse vinyl art toys. Following on the heels of his popular Miles figure, the three new metaverse Spideys include Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly), Ghost-Spider (Gwendolyn Stacy) and Spider-Punk (Hobart Brown). Each of the new alternate web crawler toys feature Tubera’s dynamic, over-the-top, cinematic poses that have little or no equal in the art toy scene.
Ghost-Spider in particular flexes a nimble balance flowing into an agile, exaggerated stance. As with Tubera’s previous toys, each character’s sneakers play a major supporting role with the shoelaces finishing off the cast. Gwen’s shoelaces seem to have a life of their own, wrapping around her outstretched leg, and then floating in the air. The laces are also an easter egg of sorts, tracing out the character’s initials.
