After several high-profile collaborations with iconic franchises, Chicago-based Filipino artist Louis De Guzman is set to expand his Along the Way body of work with the Disruptie vinyl art toy. His first self-produced figure features an unassuming light-blue cartoon-style character with a quarter-circle style body holding several geometric shapes (‘Disruptors) that are the foundation of his signature aesthetic.
As with much of the artist’s work Disruptie reflects and represents one’s path in life. He is at once a shape-shifting resource for creating whatever is needed towards manifesting one’s goals and also a guide helping one to stay true to those goals.

His intention is to form and mold himself towards your imagination and how you navigate yourself internally within your own personal journey. An edition of 100, the Disruptie vinyl art toy (8″) will be available on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023 from Louis De Guzman for $275. A companion keychain ($30) produced by Pintrill will also be available.
