HammerHood by Ten Hundred x Martian Toys

Ten Hundred x Martian Toys recently unleashed a toy tidal wave to celebrate the Michigan-based artist/Youtube star’s very first art toy. The HammerHood vinyl art toy features a kid dressed up as maybe the most striking shark of all, the Hammerhead.

Flowing with neat details throughout, the piece celebrates a carefree childhood, where worries take a backseat to fun, imagination and creativity. The kid in the shark costume just might have been the coolest kid on the block? First there’s the obvious: the shark head. The cool doesn’t stop there though. There’s also the wild wing-like fin backpack, playful color combos, and the laid back hand signs. One can almost imagine this as a super secret club—where do we sign up?

Shredding the traditional one-by-one launch strategy, HammerHood debuted with seven separate colorways including four fully-painted editions (Tangerine Dream, Cranberry Kid, San Andrés, and three GID editions (White, Pink and Yellow). While the sold-out Tangerine Dream is a limited-edition release, the other six colorways are available as timed pre-orders. If seven colorways aren’t enough for you, Martian Toys also released the exclusive Live Free TEQ63 from Ten Hundred x QUICCS, Blockbuster mini wall mural set, a Ten Hundred shipping container toy, figure design print, skate deck, pins, stickers and more in special bundles.

The three standalone HammerHood vinyl art toys (8″) are available for pre-order from Martian Toys for $129 each and are expected to ship in Winter 2022.
