DR76 by Dragon76 x Martian Toys

First seen as an unpainted prototype at the Five Points Festival 2019, the new DR76 vinyl art toy from Japanese graffiti artist Dragon76 x Martian Toys is set to make its debut this Friday (4.17).  The 6″ figure delivers the artist’s vision of a relentless graffiti renegade with paint roller in one hand and spray can in the other.

The design fuses street art culture and the iconic traditions of the ancient warriors of Dragon76’s native Japan. With trooper-style respirator, crimson eyes, and urbanized Samurai helmet, DR76 is an irrepressible force of artistic expression. The stylized ouroboros imagery (normally a serpent or dragon, consuming its tail) on the chest plate and helmet represents infinity and the cycle of life and death.

The DR76 vinyl toy (6″) will debut in Black (200 pieces) and White editions (150 pieces) for $100 each on Friday (4.17) at 9 AM PDT from Martian Toys.  The release will also feature Tees ($30) and pins ($12).  We’re also looking forward to future editions, perhaps the Camo and Red ones shown at ComplexCon 2019.
