Doktor A X Tomenosuke have just launched the Thomas Nosuke Purple Edition sofubi art toy. The purple edition features the ‘reborn’/’upgrade’ design with a translucent head and new inner GID robotic brain. As with the previous new-gen versions of the Forbidden Planet-inspired Thomas Nosuke, the head features a fancy, subtle color gradient on the otherwise clear piece. This edition also includes the old-school ray gun resin accessory that shipped with the OG editions (2019).
The Thomas Nosuke Purple Edition sofubi (7.87″) is available from Tomenosuke’s international and Japan-only online stores for ¥17,600 (~$136).
