After eight sold-out editions, Thomas Nosuke is getting a fantastic upgrade from Doktor A x Tomenosuke. The new version revisits Doktor A’s original concept of a visible floating brain with a new internal mechanism drawn from his third initial concept featuring a Robby the Robot-inspired insert. Each of the four upgraded colorways (Red+Green, Orange, Blue and GID) feature a translucent head tinted to match the colorway and a GID version of the new insert. Future versions will feature a translucent torso to reveal the full internal mechanism. The upgraded Thomas Nosuke soft vinyl art toys (8″) will be released on Saturday (12.4) at 6:59 AM PST from Tomenosuke’s international online store with Blue and Orange editions available for ¥17,600 each ($154), the Red+Green available for ¥18,700 each ($164) and the set of four including the double-pour, full GID edition (white) available for ¥66,000 ($578).
