The micro edition Thomas Nosuke Gin-Kyo edition sofubi art toy from Doktor A x Tomenosuke features a stunning mirror-like paint application. Painted by Liberty Tokyo’s Shibuya-San utilizing his Gin-Kyo (silver mirror) painting process. While chrome vinyl toys are becoming more common thanks to high-end spray techniques, the Gin-Kyo process raises the bar by incorporating multiple colors with smooth gradients.
An edition of 5, the Thomas Nosuke Gin-Kyo sofubi art toy will be available on Saturday (3.27) at 7 PM PDT from Tomenosuke’s international web shop for ¥55,000 ($505).
