Coarse circles back around to dessert with the new Meltdown – Guilty Pleasure vinyl art toy bust. The new figures features the fearsome Paw! as an ice cream cake, oozing and dripping as it starts to give in to room temperatures. And yes, there’s even a cherry on top. The festive design follows the original Meltdown figure which showcased Paw!’s False Friend, Noop in a dissected half normal, half ice cream design.
The Meltdown – Guilty Pleasure vinyl art toys will debut in dueling editions. The Paw!’s False Paradise edition brings sweety fruit flavors with a light orange and purple design. Evoking intense desires, the Paw!’s Midnight Snack edition features a stark gray design with dollops of white frosting and rainbow-hued candy sprinkles.
But wait… Why stop at two decadent desserts? While Guilty Pleasure is the newest concotion, Coarse has collaborated with fellow German Tim Raue, 2-star Michelin chef of the World’s 50 Best Restaurant’s #31 selection, on a brand-new edition of the OG Meltdown figure. The Meltdown – Coarse x Restaurant Tim Raue [Noop’s False Paradise] figure features a blue-haired Noop with a vibrant ice cream sundae in warm pink, orange and purple hues. Inspired by the renown chef’s bold flavors, this edition will be available at Restaurant Tim Raue and directly from Coarse.
Editions of 349, the Meltdown – Guilty Pleasure (16″) and Meltdown – Coarse x Restaurant Tim Raue vinyl art toy busts will be available on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 7:59 AM PST from Coarse for $384 each.
