Chompton Stoodios will kick off 2021 with several small-run editions of its Vegan Robot sofubi art toy. The sparkly Chrome edition is our pick as the highlight of the announced drops. The reflective treatment suits the Vegan Robot’s angles and chunky details, enhancing the figure’s sculpt rather than washing out details as is sometimes the case with toys that have fine, subtle detail and smoother surfaces.
In addition to the Chrome edition, Chompton will also release two painted editions in maroon/green and purple/blue.
The Chrome Vegan Robot ($80) and the two painted editions will be available on Thursday (1.14) at 12 PM PST from Chompton Stoodios via DM.
