This showed up in the inbox the other day with an interesting tagline — "The Middle East’s first Designer Toy". I’m not positive about first, but if not it’s one of a very few. This is Robot VC3 designed by robotandspark in the United Arab Emirates and sculpted by Tweekhed in the UK. Even in this WIP unpainted proto page, the figure looks good. Very appealing design.
The self-funded project will be released towards the end of ’08 in four very limited colorways. There are also plans for a DIY version and a crossover with the Brown Monkeys, A Dubai based art collective. Click through for more shots.
