It’s almost time. Munky King is gearing up to release Omi Series 1 – the first artist series of their new innovative Omi blind-box art collectible series. Here’s a look at the production pieces displayed on the included clear wall/mount stand. Series 1 features nine main designs by Buff Monster, Dave Pressler, Ferg, Frank Kozik, Greg Simkins Luke Chueh (above), Munky King, Nathan Jurevicius, & Yoskay Yamamoto. Only the Yoskay piece has yet to be revealed. We’ve seen it and it’s worth waiting for. There are also nine chase/mystery pieces for a total of 18 different Omi’s in S1.
Not familiar with Omi ? Based on Asian opera masks, each Omi features an integrated peg system which allows for considerable display options. The included hybrid clear wall-mount/stand can be used to individually display an Omi. Two Omis can be plugged together for a free-standing piece. Finally, up to nine Omi’s can be wall-mounted the separately sold Omi walls.
