Toy Karma 2 featuring art inspired by Classic Japanese Toys opens this Saturday at Rotofugi in Chicago. Curated by Mark Nagata of Max Toy Co, the show features 2D art and custom toys from a veritable who’s who in the world of Japanese designer toys. As you might expect, it’s also loaded with Kaiju and sofubi exclusives.

Glad you asked 😉 TK2 exclusives include Rumble Monsters x Charactics Bop Dragon, green Zaran by Clap Monsters, red Kinoko-Jiru Otoko by Yaomark, Suiko by Sunguts (4 versions), mini and full-size “Tokyo” Damendrons by Rumble Monsters, RealxHead Evil Bat in black (above) with metallic accents, pink Zudon by Zollmen, and MG5 also by Zollmen.
If you’re looking to buy show exclusives, collectors who line up at Rotofugi at noon will receive line tickets and can then re-line up at 6 pm. Exclusives go on sale when the doors open at 7 PM. No pre-orders, pre-sales, or holds. Any remaining pieces will be available at Rotofugi’s online store the week after the opening.
