DesignerCon is working with Medicom Toy on several exclusive toys for this year’s show. These will be available for pre-order as add-ons to DCon Tickets which go on sale on Thursday (8.9) at 1 PM PDT. For each ticket purchased, customers may pre-order up to one of each exclusive for pickup at DesignerCon (11.16 – 11.18).
First up are two new Keith Haring figures – a Be@rbrick and a VCD—with brand-new designs that set them apart from previous releases. The exclusive Be@rbrick features more abstract design than the previous releases and will be available in a 100% & 400% combo pack as well as the gorgeous 1000% edition pictured above. The DCon Exclusive Andy Warhol VCD features a brand-new ‘Pop Shop’ T-shirt graphic along with pristine jeans (no patches).
In addition the previously announced Andy Warhol 100% Be@rbrick, DCon will also release a Chevy Metal 100% Be@brick celebrating the Foo Fighters powered super cover band’s headlining performance at the DCon Saturday Night Party ($35/ticket). The Warhol Be@rbrick is included as part of the VIP Pass package and can also be purchased separately with the purchase of Weekend or Single Day passes.
