The fourth Subcultures show featuring the Art of the Action Figure opened this past Friday at Channel 1 in New Haven, CT. The show was a mix of custom designer toys including a strong showing by japanese retro-inspired figures and original art. Props to Sket One for these pictures of the event and the show pieces. Sket’s five product customs are quite cool and many VP readers seem to agree. Mark Nagata’s customs and the preview of the Captain Maxx colorways look quite nice as well. Speaking about eye catching, Tyson Summers’s Uni made a showing and looks quite slick. Great to see designer toys making more and more of a splash in Connecticut.
