STRANGEco has announced a brand-new mini-figure series featuring original figures from rock poster artists. The series is curated by Jermaine Rogers, co-produced with Wootini and will debut in 2007. The series features several active rock poster artists from veterans and masters to up and coming talent including Jermaine Rogers, Lindsey Kuhn, Jay Ryan, The Little Friends of Printmaking and several other prominent poster artists. This as yet unamed series will bring the diverse and unique talents of rock poster artists to designer toys and will also introduce the art form of the rock poster to a new audience — designer toy collectors. Designer Toys and Rock Poster Art, an ideal match soon to be brough to you by STRANGEco. Here are some chosen illustrations from the named series artists though these may or may not be reflective of the actual toy designs 😉 Stay tuned for more details.

Also to note – the figures will not be Platform toys, but original sculpts for each figure. Considering the amount of relevant gig poster artists for this first series, we are talking about a bunch of different figures. 🙂
