There are times when something comes along and just knocks me off my feet…well…. this is one of those times. Mike Leavitt’s
20 new articulating one-off 10 inch action figures are fully-posable
posers of artists we all love and hate. Mike not only captured the
physical likeness of the artists, but he has skillfully worked his
magic and brought out the fundamental essence of each artist’s work.
Among the figures are Lori Earley, Sas Christian, Robert Williams,
Shepard Fairey, Shag, Biskup, Baseman, Chueh, Ledbetter, Thomas Han,
Kozik, Kathy Schorr, Von Dutch, Natalia Fabia…and they all will be on
display at The Art Army’s Juxta-Posers show which will open at Copro/Nason Gallery on April 22nd from 8-11:30 p.m. Jack and I will definitely make it out to this show to see these awesome figures in person.
