Mike Burnett and Chris Ryniak’s collaborative show Buck Eyed Fury opened last Friday at Showroom NYC to a crowd of fans. Mike’s well dressed and mild mannered toys accompanied
by Chris’s paintings of monsters created a prefect blend of retro cuteness with a spark of creepiness. The combination of Mike’s uncluttered neat custom wooden toys and the edgy wrath of Chris’s

Not really noticed these guys work before, excellent stuff all round, nice to see someone working with new forms and chris’s paintings blow me away.
Chris and Mike are definitely going to be even bigger now that they’ve been recognized by the DUV community.
I tried to give their artworks as much justice as I could in my photos, but of course they look better in person. 🙂
