“TEQUILA REVEALED!” PART 11

After many weeks of anticipation, Muttpop’s  FINAL Tequila figure and Poncho sculpt are COMPLETE! So what do you think of Monster5’s sculpt? From the the rough drawings to the final sculpt, I can only imagine the amount of work involved for everyone in bringing this toy to live. Needless to say, the sculpt is just amazing, from the tattered pancho to the spiked cactus head, no details were missed. It is obvious that when this creature hit us, it is going to hit us HARD!!!

Check back next week for the first glimpse at the Tequila Figure PACKAGE DESIGN!

  1. I’m glad you guys are digging it.
    OKKLE:
What you see is the COMPLETE figure. We decided against including the sombrero hat. The additional cost associated with it were not justifiable.
Our next step is package design and coloring the figure.
Stay tuned at Vinyl Pulse to see how things develop!

  2. TIZIEU:
Monster5 sculpts in clay. When he’s happy with the final results, he bakes it to keep it permanent.
He starts by making a final version of the figure’s head and builds the rest of the figure around it.

  3. BORT:
    Thanks for the compliment.
Tequila will have slight rotation in the neck and waist.
We decided AGAINST articulation in the arms since cutting the figure anywhere above the shoulders would destroy Monster5’s gourgeous sculpt.

  4. thank you, they use super sculpey? I board intended to say that it was a very good modelling clay… the details and the smoothness of work is very beautiful. it is a good idea to put all the stages of work

  5. TIZIEU:
Since Monster5 comes from a background in sculpting for Hollywood films, it’s safe to say that he does use SUPER SCULPEY.
We are also very proud of Monster5’s smooth yet detailed work. I hope these different stages have been helpful to you.
