Toy2r has a brand new Qee series featuring drawn renditions of corporate CEOs. The first figure depicting Jerry French, the President of French Paper company, has a cool design by Charles S. Anderson Design — I dig the blue "French" on the back of the head and the rolled up newspaper in the back pocket. This 2-inch Qee comes packaged with a postcard of the toy design on French paper (naturally!). This figure is extremely limited — according to the Toy2r info the figure will be used as an exclusive promotional figure in the US by the French Paper company. In addition there will be 100 pieces available worldwide from Toy2r. Hmm… Where’s my Bill Gates and Steve Jobs figures? Maybe I should be careful what I wish for! This series seems likely to appeal to Qee completists and those that like quirky and unusual figures. What’s your opinion? Post a comment and let us know!
Just got my Jerry French Qee. He rocks!! Kinda perfect for someone like me who collects toys AND uses French Paper for my printing biz!
Are qee collectors into this guy at all, or moreso just Graphic Designers & Paper People? I got one with a paper shipment, but I’ve never heard toy fan friends mention it.
