Tim Tsui @ Mixi-Bang! (10.20.07)

Tim Tsui, one of the OG HK toy pioneers, will make a rare US appearance for his first USA solo show @ Mixi-Bang! on Saturday, October 20th @ 7 PM.  Tim's brought together streetwear and designer toys with the show exclusive Mixi-Bang!  x GreyOne  Da Minci.  This one is limited to just 100 pieces.  There are  two removable luchador style masks -- one featuring a GreyOne  design with a nod to the Soul Assassins and a Mixi-Bang! design. Whether the figure comes with both masks or whether there are two editions (would make sense), is unclear.  Will update as soon as we can.  The figure itself bears GreyOne on the chest as well as the left forearm and Mixi-Bang on the back jersey style. In addition to this sweet LE Da Minci, Tim's show will feature a retrospective look at his art as well as giclee prints, T-shirts, Hand-painted customs, hand-painted canvases (!) as well as "Metal Mincis" (hmmm).  This show is absolutely not to be missed.
