(Sir) Mugi Teaworthy by Doktor A x Lowbrowee Toys

Lowbrowee Toys has collaborated with Doktor A on the (Sir) Mugi Teaworthy sofubi art toy. The tea-loving, proper Teaworthy is a Shiba Inu from the UK artist’s Mechtorians universe powered by extraordinary Victorian-era technology. The figure is inspired by Lowbrowee Toys founder Yaniv Brick’s loyal Shiba, Mugi.

The playful pup debuts in the Grey Mint colorway showcasing a blue-gray hue partly inspired by Lady Liberty and by the decor of Dok A’s favorite spot for tea in London, Fortnum and Mason. The figure features three interchangeable hats to match Mugi’s changing moods: topper, bowler and fez. Mugi comes to life through the digital sculpting of Willy Kao and Science Patrol’s sofubi prowess.

An edition of 20, the (Sir) Mugi Teaworthy – Grey Mint sofubi art toy (8″ H x 6″ L) will be available on Saturday (3.16) at 9 AM PDT from Lowbrowee Toys for $80 with an included ‘secret’ blueprint of the mechanical marvel’s technology. The new figure is the first release from Mugi’s Circle of Art, Brick’s project celebrating his pet with ‘pup-surrealist’ art 😉
