As part of the UK-based Sanders x HK-based Hoax 150th Anniversary shoe crossover project, Ronan Leung has designed a special Leggie Bird ‘Henry’ vinyl art toy produced by Unbox Industries. The toy will be released alongside, separately, the special Penny Loafers—celebrating Sanders’ milestone anniversary —featuring the Broad Arrow, a British military symbol.
Named after Sanders’ current dierctor, Henry Sanders, the new Leggie Bird figure features forest hues from the brown hues for the bird, hat & pants to the dark green for the blazer. Always a snappy dresser with a taste for the eclectic, this Leggie Bird is rocking the Broad Arrow loafers, arrow pants inspired by the shoe collaboration and a Hoax-brand shoulder patch. In celebration of the crossover, the figure comes in the classic blue Sanders shoe box with 150th Anniversary shoe bag and includes a signed COA.
The Leggie Bird ‘Henry’ vinyl art toy (9.45″) will be available online on Saturday (12.30) from Unbox Industries and also at HOAX’s Mira and online store, Artdicted’s online store ($128). Shoes sold separately.
