With DesignerCon ’23 less than a week away, we are looking forward to what’s in-store from Medicom Toy. This year’s event will see several exclusive Be@rbrick releases including the new Make Art Not War 100/400% Be@brick set from LA-based street artist Shepard Fairey.
The new figures feature Fairey’s iconic take and rework of the classic Make Love Not War saying. Celebrating the power to bring people together, the red Be@rbricks follow the original image with the now familiar woman with flowers in her hair at the center surrounded by the piece’s hopeful, promising title. This is Shepard Fairey’s second Be@rbrick design following his debut 400% which dropped at last year’s show. That first design will also be available in the prestigious 1000% format for this year’s show as well
The DesignerCon 2023 Make Art Not War 100%/400% Be@rbrick set will be available from the Medicom Toy booth (#805) for $140 at DesignerCon (12.15 – 12.17). It will also be available via NTWRK on Friday (12.15) at 2 PM PST. If you don’t have tickets yet, head on over to the DesignerCon site and choose between the 3-day VIP pass ($90), Weekend 2-day pass ($40) or individual Saturday or Sunday Passes ($25).
