UK artist Koncrete expands his solemn, sobering vision of a lost society with his new Breathe resin art toy sculpture. First shown as a prototype at ToyCon UK 2023, Breathe features one of the artist’s child characters with a flock of black birds tucked into the front of his oversized jacket. His gaze joins that of his avian friends towards the sky, towards freedom and relief from the troubles that surround. The stark mood is amplified by the nearly all-black design save for the piercing red eyes.
The Breathe resin art toy sculpture (~ 13″) is available via lottery from Koncrete for £550 (~ $670) until Tuesday (11.2) at 7 AM PDT with six figures available. Entry is straightforward via an online form.
