myplasticheart will present World’s End Grocery, a solo show by Hong Kong-based artist Morimei, with an opening on Saturday evening (6.3). The show will center around Morimei’s apocalyptic Zombcat with an exclusive Zombcat Koi edition soft vinyl art toy, Zombcat customs, drawings, prints, posters and accessories.
The Zombcat Koi edition features two different designs blending the iconic Japanese fish with the zombie cat. Each feature orange and black Koi markings, one on an opaque, milky white body the other on a mostly clear body. Morimei has also created a smaller number of one-off Thousand Dreams Zombcat customs with translucent blue/purple cosmic theme. Collectors who purchase a Zombcat Koi exclusive will be able to enter a lottery to purchase a custom.
