Korean artist twelveDot’s newest APO Frog creation is simply titled Proof. The new design features a large parent frog holding a wee lil frog in one hand. As TwelveDot began postings images of the unpainted sculptures and then a few finished pieces with few details, collectors have wondered ‘when?’
The time is now as twelveDot is taking pre-orders for the Proof – Raincoat resin art toy sculpture. Raincoat features light-blue gray frogs with the kid frog ready for the weather with a cute yellow raincoat.
Conceived as a very low-run art multiple, the Proof – Raincoat resin sculpture (5.91″ W x 4.72″ D x 9.84″ H) is limited to just five pieces. First presented as part of the Identity = Originality group show at Space Rad in Seoul, the sculpture is now available for pre-order from TwelveDot for $920 and is tentatively scheduled to ship in August. The sculpture includes a handsome wood case, wood platform base and Certificate of Authenticity.
