Vandul’s next vinyl chapter unfolds with the new somewhat nostalgic Salty Walk Vandul vinyl art toy. Even though the iconic packaging is still in use today, it doesn’t feel as popular as a visual identity likely because of the reduced advertising around it. Rather than a direct colorway mimic, Vandul’s version is a more nuanced homage with the classic raincoat yellow becoming a key accent rather than the primary hue. If you’ve been following Vandul for awhile, it’s hard not to see this drop as a maybe not so subtle ‘wink’ too.
The Salty Walk Vandul vinyl art toy (7″) is available for pre-order from Vandul’s site for a promo price of $119 (versus the regular $149). The figure is expected to ship in August.
