Daniel Arsham continues to unearth Pokémon relics with his upcoming Crystalized Bulbasaur resin sculpture. Cast in light blue resin from the hand-sculpted original, the celebration of one of three iconic starter Pokémon features the artist’s signature cut-away sections revealing the crystalline structure within. The upcoming release follows the Crystalized editions of the two other starter Pokémon: Squirtle and Charmander.
An edition of 500, the Crystalized Bulbasaur resin sculpture (11.81″, ~14.88 pounds) will be available on Friday (3.31) @ 9 AM PDT from Arsham Editions — pricing has not been announced. The sculpture comes in custom packing with die-cut foam, numbered holographic label and art handling gloves. The Crystalized Bulbasaur will also be available in China through Archive Editions.
