If you weren’t able to pick up Joe Ledbetter’s officially licensed Mickey and Friends vinyl art toys at D23 back in September, you have one last opportunity to pick up the very limited debut grayscale edition. Wonderground Gallery at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, CA will be releasing the figures on Sunday (11.13) at 9 AM PST in support of Joe’s signing from 3 to 6 PM. The gallery will also have his Before full-color print (edition of 50) which features the fun park festivities depicted in the toy series.
There are six classic Disney characters in the series including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto. Each comes with two stylized 2.5D accessories that can be used to enhance display of the figure. This grayscale edition will be followed by a more widely released edition in 2023.
