Gary Baseman’s beloved Blackie The Cat was the artist’s constant companion and friend. The LA-based artist’s recent work has celebrated his feline friend through original paintings, prints, plush figures, masks and more.
Add Be@rbrick to Blackie’s growing artistic achievements. Baseman has collaborated with Medicom Toy on the first-ever Blackie the Cat Bea@rbrick toys for a 100% + 400% set. The cleverly cute design uses translucent Be@rbrick ears to preserve Blackie’s pointy ears. From shelf to wall, a new print featuring Blackie holding his Be@brick will be released alongside the art toys.

at 8 PM PDT from Gary Baseman’s site, simultaneously with Medicom’s Japan release. Pricing has not been announced.
