After several classic colorways, Luke Chueh x Flabslab are embracing the possibilities of Japanese vinyl with the new Hello Lukey – Carnage edition sofubi art toy. The striking new edition of Chueh’s homage to Hello Kitty—an inspiration for his signature ‘bear’ character—features a marbled black and red design. Perhaps inspired by the comic book character, the eddition’s multipass process ensures that each figure features a unique blend of the two colors.
An edition of 150, the Hello Lukey – Carnage sofubi art toy (3.5″, $55) will be available on Sunday (7.10) at 12 PM PDT from Luke Chueh’s site. For customers overseas, the figure is also available from Flabslab. One hundred pieces will be available directly from the artist with another 50 available from Flabslab.
