Singapore-based Flabslab is set to release the new Hello Lukey sofubi art toy from Luke Chueh. Made in Japan, the figure is Chueh’s homage to the iconic Hello Kitty, a source of inspiration for his signature ‘bear’ character. Beyond the two eyes and a nose, no mouth, Hello Lukey adapts the icon’s classic seated pose. The new sofubi edition follows the larger hand-painted resin versions.
The Hello Lukey OG open-edition sofubi art toy (3.5″) will be available on Saturday (5.1) at 8 AM PDT directly from Flabslab for $40. For those in the USA looking to minimize shipping fees, Luke Chueh will also be offering the figure at some point.
