Mighty Jaxx continues to expose the dark secrets of the feline underworld with its upcoming SyndiCats: Nyakuza polystone art toys. A cunning play on words, Nyakuza is inspired by the traditional Japanese organized crime syndicate known for their fierce traditions full-body tattoos.
In preparation for the upcoming Sanja Matsuri shinto festival—of great important to the Yakuza— this ferocious feline is seen wearing a hachimaki head scarf, happi coat, fundoshi undergarments and not much else. Nyakuza flaunts three primary tattoos including a koi sleeve, wave tattoo on one leg and one of an Oni carrying a dead rat in its mouth in the middle of an epic wave on the other. Should things warrant it, this cat backs up its meow with a razor-sharp Katana. Nyakuza is the second release in Mighty Jaxx’s internally developed Syndicats series and follows the SyndiCats: PurrFace figure inspired by the Italian mob.
