As part of a new wave of art toys featuring its signature diver, Sank Toys is releasing the Little Sank – Time Capsule vinyl art toy. The only vinyl release in the April drops, the translucent blue and red design plays off the concept of prescription happiness as hinted at with the crosses on both boots and the message/label on the back which reads “Life is short and happy. Take medicine on time” alongside a large pill capsule illustration. In a very small sense, the addictive blue to red translucent paint fade echoes the promise of happy pills. So good.
An edition of 199, the Little Sank – Time Capsule vinyl art toy (9.45″) will be available for preorder on Friday (4.8) at 7 AM PDT from select retailers including myplasticheart and Strangecat Toys with shipping scheduled for May 2022. Pricing has not yet been announced and tends to vary slightly from retailer to retailer for Sank products based on their specific costs to bring in the figures from China.
