Wheee! To be six again 🙂 ChrisRWK and Chris Dokebi’s collaborative Best Friends resin art toy from Strangecat Toys celebrates childhood and the friendship of imaginary characters. Inspired by the beloved comic strip of a boy and his playful tiger companion, the piece features a young version of Chris Dokebi’s Korean-goblin inspired character in the front and ChrisRWK’s signature robot in its elusive, weekends-only tiger form. Whether it’s a red wagon, snowboard or a bike, the world seems so simple blasting down a hill.
An edition of 200, the Best Friends resin art toy sculpture (8″ L x 7″ H) is available for preorder from Strangecat Toys for $250. The sculpture is scheduled to ship in March 2022.
