adFunture is set to release a new full-color edition of the Cornered polystone art toy sculpture from Ringco Liu. At 30 cm tall, the new edition is twice the height of the debut black edition (15 cm) released at last year’s Shanghai Toy Show (2021). The Astro Boy-inspired piece is part of Ringco Liu’s Forgottensoulz project which explores long lost, cherished childhood toys. What happens to a toy after its owner moves on to newer and more sophisticated playthings?
An edition of ten, the new full-color Cornered polystone art toy sculpture (11.81″) will be available from adFunture’s booth [A29] for ¥2880 ($443) at QTX 2021 (QQ Toy Expo) in Shenzen, China from May 1st to the 3rd. Cornered will come in a wood box with signed/numbered Certificate of Authenticity also crafted in wood.
