For its final Meet Project release of 2020, All Rights Reserved is offering the new ‘Still Life’ mixed-media sculpture from Chicago-based Icelandic painter Baldur Helgason. With a sly name that recalls a time-honored art tradition, Still Life features Helgason’s signature character, a version of himself, relaxing, without a worry in sight. Lying on his stomach, legs in the air, arms crossed underneath himself, the wide-grinned character enjoys a cigarette and his down time.
An edition of 100, the Still Life mixed-media sculpture (5.79″ H x7.09″ x 11.22″ L) is available via lottery (‘raffle’) from DDT Store until Thursday (12.3) at 9 PM PST for HK$11,780 ($1520). The figure is slated to begin shipping in January 2021.
