Martian Toys has a full slate of drops lined up ComplexLand (12.7 – 12.11), the video-game like virtual version of ComplexCon, including three art toys featuring Dragon76 and QUICCS crossing over on to each other’s signature toys. With the DRTEQ76 editions, Dragon76 brings a stylized blue + orange camo design to the TEQ63 in both 6″ TEQ63 and 12″ MEGATEQ versions. While the two DRTEQ76 designs are similar, the smaller 6″ features black as the secondary color on the hoodie versus the 12″ which goes with dark navy. In addition, the 6″ has more blue splatter than the 12″ version. The subtle design differences let the two sizes stand on their own as separate figures and together with their shared visual identity.
For his turn, QUICCS’ DR76 ‘Ghost of Kurosawa’ figure features his signature black, red and white design on Dragon76’s respirator-wearing graffiti warrior. The new GoK edition is the first-ever guest artist edition of the DR76.
An edition of 99, the DR76 ‘Ghost of Kurosawa’ vinyl art toy (6″) will be available on Monday (12.7) at 11 AM PST from the Boro section of ComplexLand for $100. The DRTEQ76 TEQ63 (6″, 276 pcs, $90) and MEGATEQ vinyl art toys (12″, 176 pcs, $200) will be available on Tuesday (12.8) at 11 AM PST from the Boro section of ComplexLand.
