‘Frontline Heroes’ Auction from Museum of Toys

The Jakarta-Based Museum of Toys has collaborated with Maggie Michella (art direction) and Jeremy Yap (toy design) to bring the duo’s Frontline Heroes 1-of-1 series of art toys to life. Born of a need to help those on the frontline of the coronavirus epidemic while remaining at home, the series features twelve 3″ 3D-printed figures. Inspired by the project’s goal of making a difference in the fight against the pandemic, Museum of Toys’ founder Win Satrya backed the project in order to make it a reality.

The hand-painted figures highlight the key roles played by twelve frontline professions: Ambulance Driver, Pulmonologist, Lab Technician, Hospital Housekeeper, Hospital Administrator, Security, Pharmacist, and Researcher. Each figure’s card back features the story of the real-life Frontline Hero who inspired it.

The Frontline Heroes art toy set of twelve 3D-printed figures (3.1″) is available for auction direct from Museum of Toys until Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:30 AM PDT. All auction proceeds will be donated to the World Health Organization (WHO).
