Boycott by Abell Octovoan x Museum of Toys

Previous Next

Indonesian artist Abell Octovan’s new Boycott resin art toy from the Museum of Toys stands in silent protest of injustice. A portrayal of resistance and resilience, the figure expresses his anger and need for change not with clenched first nor impassioned speech but with a simple defiant act of pulling his shirt over his mouth.

Standing an imposing 16″ tall in bright red, Boycott is an inescapable reminder that this is not normal. The figure surfaces the angst that lies just beneath our everyday existence.

An edition of 35 pieces, the Boycott resin art toy is available from the Museum of Toys for $345 each. Hand cast and painted by the artist, each figure includes a certificate of authenticity.
