Classicbot IIE in the Works

Previous Next

Classicbot, the folks that have brought classic Apple products back to life as fun retro art toys are back at it again with the reveal of the new Classicbot IIE. Just entering the production phase, the upcoming toy follows the Classicbot, Classicbot G3 and the recent iBoy (click wheel iPod) to name a few. Going way back to the height of the Apple II’s reign, the upcoming toy playfully reimagines the classic computer as a treaded tank bot of sorts.

Featuring a monitor, floppy disk drive units (remember those?), the main computer, and the treaded wheels, the new figure will offer plenty of magnetic-powered play time. Of course, if you want to go full ‘bot, you can by attaching the arms and legs to the monitor. The Apple IIE is the essential pre-Mac Apple computer, so the new Classicbot IIE is bound to be a welcome addition to the line.
