Kikkake Toy is rounding out their special CoViD-19 (Complete the Vinyl Dystopia) release event featuring daily drops with #19: Auspicious Bone. The final release in the stay-at-home necessitated event, has been well worth the wait.
Auspicious Bone, is a variation of the flamboyant Auspicious Guy figure featuring a new skull head with bulging eyes. With smiley-face cannon in hand (versus the more common drum), the sofubi figure seems to symbolize the hopeful end to the lockdown response to the virus. As Kikkake Toy puts it, ‘He is the last infected guy to bring the situation to an end.’
The Auspicious Bone sofubi art toy is available now from the Kikkake Store for ¥23,000 ($216) and ships worldwide for free. Shipping is slated to start on May 6th.
