Reacting to the troubling and uncertain times we’re all living in, Kikkake Toy is fighting back symbolically through his art.The new Virus Busters variants of his popular Iron Monkey sofubi art toys feature bright, colorful helmet-like masks protecting the happy prankster within. The concept is a fun, light-hearted but heartfelt take on coping with this pandemic. The ‘A’ version features a blue/red design while ‘B ‘has a sunny purple/yellow design with psychedelic cymbals. No word yet on whether the helmet is removable, though we’re assuming it is since it’s an added piece.
Limited to just 25 pieces each, the Virus Busters A (¥25,000/$227) and Virus Busters B (¥26,000/$236) are available now from Kikkake’s online store.
