Korean artist Dear Dora‘s Purple Koko and Purple Claudy resin art toys were available in small quantities for Raccoon Factory’s Purple & White Online Exhibition held back on April 24th. While the cute, playful figures sold out for the show, Dear Dora is giving collectors what they want: more.
Koko is a curious, perhaps slightly shy elephant character. With two-toned suspenders and a retro color treatment, she has a vintage appeal. The Purple Edition features muted purple hair and a light blue and purple outfit.
The understated purple lends Claudy a bit more of a melancholy feel than the standard white edition. With a rainbow peeking out on top and uneven socks, this fluffy cloud kid has an eye towards the sunny side.
The Purple Editions of the Koko (4.13″, $150) and Claudy (3.15″, $100) handmade resin art toys are available for online pre-order from the Raccoon Factory store through Wednesday, May 13th Korea Time (5.13 @ 7:59 AM PDT). Production of the pre-ordered figures is expected to take 50 days, prior to shipping.
