Next up from Thai-based Mr. Gingi is the Cupcake Gingi resin art toy. This cute confection features the artist’s signature character in the form of a scrumptious cupcake. With clever paint deco and a cupcake wrapper style base, the Ghost and Dead Fox combo character almost looks too good to eat. That’s probably a good thing, since it’s not good eats, being resin and all.
An edition of 40, the Cupcake Gingi resin toy (4.5″) will be available for pre-order on Thursday (5.27) for USA collectors exclusively from Strangecat Toys at 6 AM PDT for $40 and for international collectors via Mr. Gingi’s Facebook and Instagram at 9PM Bangkok time for $36. Cupcake Gingi follows the previous Gingi Valentine Edition which featured a pink cupcake with a white frosted fox. These are slated to ship in 2-3 months.
