To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Thai artist Mr. Gingi has concocted a fun, clever special edition of his Gingi (2.0) resin art toy. The revised Gingi figure tells the story of a wide-eyed ghost and a fox. The Gingi Valentine Edition art toy recasts the fox as white a dollop of frosting and sprinkles on top of the pink ghost cupcake. The cupcake cup completes the concept. While some special ‘treat’ editions force the idea, it’s seamlessly done here.
Limited to 10 pieces, the Gingi Valentine Edition resin art toy will be released on Monday, February 10th, 2020 in two separate drops (5 pieces/drop). For USA customers, the handcrafted, hand-painted toy will be available from Strangecat Toys at 6 PM PST for $33. For all others, Mr. Gingi will release the figure directly via his Facebook page at 9PM Bangkok Time for 990 Baht using the comment system (‘1’ to order a single toy).
