Thailand-based Kaze Studio’s next resin drops are the tempting, tasty Booka Bun art toys. Featuring Kaze’s pig character, each of the 2.2″ mini Bun figures comes with its own bamboo-style steamer. There are four colorways: White, Charcoal, Baked and Sakura.
The scrumptious sculpt incorporates the crimped folds of fluffy baos with Booka’s piggy personality, tail and all. The resin steamers are equally detailed, with wood-grain style finish, slatted interior sculpt, and sculpted Booka logo. While these Booka Buns are shown in render form, rest assured that Kaze’s finished pieces live up to the gorgeous pre-release visuals. As we saw firsthand in Thailand during last year’s TTE, the quality is top notch.
Kaze is offering the Booka Buns for $55 each and also offering a free 5th bonus dumpling for collectors that purchase all four. As shown in the promo images, the bonus figure is a royal treat, seemingly inspired by Shao Mai dumplings.
