Thai artist Nihombashi has collaborated with fellow Thai artist Kaze to create the new Oldie Booka resin art toy. The humorous pastel-colored figure features Nihombashi’s signature Ojiko Grandma character wearing a piggie suit designed by Kaze. Featuring a brand-new sculpt complete with bib-like flexible scarf featuring several of Kaze’s characters, Oldie Booka brings out grandma’s inner child. The figure’s arms (with cute hoof gloves) appear to be articulated based on the promo images showing different poses.
Nihombashi will release the hand-painted, handcast Oldie Booka art toys (~4″) on Friday (2.7) at 4 AM PST for $70 each from their Facebook Page using the familiar comment system (‘1’ to order one piece). Twenty pieces will be available for this release with a limit of 2 per person.
